Placement matters more than the number of cameras
Four well-placed cameras give better footage than eight hung at random. That is why we visit the building before quoting and look at where the real approaches are: the gate, the front door, the windows at the back, the drive to the garage.
A camera pointed at the yard in general produces footage in which no face can be recognised. A camera set at a height and angle that covers the approach path produces footage that means something. That difference is made during installation, not at the point of purchase.
What the system consists of
- Cameras — outdoor units in weatherproof housings, indoor ones more discreet. Night mode with infrared illumination.
- Recorder — keeps an archive for a number of days, depending on the disk and the number of cameras. Without a recorder a camera shows but does not remember.
- Motion sensors — part of the alarm system, triggered by movement in the zone they cover.
- Siren and notification — an audible alarm on site and a message to your phone.
- App — live view and archive playback from a phone, from any location.
Cameras and alarm work together
CCTV records what happened. An alarm reacts while it is happening. Together they make sense: the sensor reports movement, the footage shows what it was.
Where there is existing wiring — an old alarm, cables already run, cameras fitted earlier — we look at what can be reused. There is no reason to chase out a wall when a cable already runs through it.
Training after installation
A system the owner cannot operate is money wasted. After installation we go through all of it: how to watch live, how to scrub back through the archive, how to export a clip, how to arm and disarm the alarm and what to do when it triggers falsely.

Frequently asked questions
How many days of footage are kept?
It depends on disk size, the number of cameras and the resolution. More cameras and higher resolution mean a shorter archive. In the quote we state how many days you will get with the proposed disk and what a longer archive costs.
Do the cameras work without internet?
Recording does — cameras and recorder are connected locally and do not depend on the internet. Internet is only needed for viewing from a phone when you are away and for sending notifications.
Can cameras be connected to an existing alarm?
In most cases yes. At the site visit we look at what system you have and what part of the wiring is usable, and the quote states what is kept and what is replaced.
